Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi will leave the club after their final match of the season, the club have announced.
The Italian boss joined the Seagulls on a four-year deal in September 2022, but will now move on after just eight months in charge.
De Zerbi's departure comes as a surprise, with the Seagulls currently ninth in the Premier League table and on course for a top-half finish.
However, it is understood that De Zerbi has been unhappy with the club's transfer policy and has decided to move on in search of a new challenge.
The Italian has been linked with a move to Juventus, who are looking for a new manager after sacking Massimiliano Allegri.
De Zerbi's departure will be a blow to Brighton, who have made significant progress under his leadership.
However, the club are confident that they can find a suitable replacement and continue to build on the progress they have made under De Zerbi.
